Welcome to CASBA

CASBA selected to take part in Co-op Local Community Fund
We are delighted to have been chosen to benefit from the Co-op Local Community Fund.
When a member buys selected products or services from the Co-op they earn a five per cent reward for themselves, with a further one per cent for local causes like ours.
Co-op members can choose a cause by going online www.coop.co.uk/membership. We really hope that people will visit the website and choose to support us.
If you’re not a member and would like to support us, you can join at your local store or online at www.coop.co.uk.

CASBA's Freedom Programme course ends
The participants on our latest Freedom Programme course completed it in October. This powerful course about domestic abuse and keeping yourself safe had a big impact on those taking part and they really bonded, as you can see from the bracelets they gave each other. The positive effect it had on them can also see from the words written here. Thanks to Alyson and Jo for running such a brilliant course!

CASBA launches new website for Education is Special Project
We are delighted to launch our new website for the National Lottery Heritage Fund supported Education is Special project.  This gives us a platform with information about special education and the schools we're working with,. It will expand greatly as the project progresses so that we can share everything we learn over the next year. Please have a look at: www.educationisspecial.co.uk
Take this short quiz for our Education is Special project
One of the key tasks in a heritage project about Learning Disabilities is to see what people already know about the subject and how you can add to that knowledge with your research.
So, for our Education is special project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we are asking people to take this short quiz to see how much they know. It should only take about 2 minutes to complete and we hope it'll be fun and interesting. Find out more about the project here.
