On 20th April CASBA Trustees had an awayday at  ThinkTank in Birmingham.

Although some of us met at the AGM It was the first time we had met face to face since COVID. We wanted to talk about what the Board were doing well and what we could be better at.

Lisa from Limelite led the day for us. She put us into groups and we spent time getting to know each other better.

Lisa helped us to look at what Trustees should do as part of their job. We saw that we did a lot of things well but there were things that we could change. We would like someone outside CASBA to  review the Board and help us make some changes. We said we would like more people with lived experience to be involved in managing CASBA.

We all enjoyed the day. Thinktank provided good food and we liked the fidget toys that Lisa brought with her!

We thought the day went very well and we plan to have another one next year.
