Social Media Volunteer
Responsible to: Fundraising & Communications Officer
Time Commitment: Minimum 2 hours per week
Location: CASBA Offices, 2nd Floor, Sense Touchbase Pears, 750 Bristol Rd, Selly Oak, Birmingham B29 6NA or home based
About the service
CASBA was established in 1988 and are trusted to help people with learning disabilities live more independently. We listen and we make sure that the voices of our citizens with learning disabilities are heard by others. We organise support groups and training sessions where citizens can learn from experts with experience.
About the role
The volunteering team support CASBA’s volunteers primarily through our Ambassador and Link groups. We are in a time of growth where we are recruiting new volunteers to both our Ambassador & Link groups, and we are also recruiting to brand new volunteer roles.
We need a Social Media volunteer who can support in creating impactful posts for our social media channels including LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook.
Qualities & skills needed
- Good IT skills
- Understanding of social media
- Organised
- Creative

- Two satisfactory references
- Safeguarding training
- GDPR training
- Any additional training identified
