On the 9th August 2024, some of the LINK members met up with other members that didn’t know Rowheath pavilion very well to show them the way to Rowheath Park for 12pm. We ate our lunch on a bench before the walk we started the walk at 1pm. It was a lovely sunny day.

When Jennifer arrived I (Kirsty) gathered the other LINK members/staff around the bench she was sat at then greeted her with a card, chocolates, stream train badge and other presents from the link group. This was because she is stepping down from chairing the group. We made her day!

We had a group photograph before the walk.

I (Kirsty) then took lead role of being Jennifer for the day and took the members on the walk around the duck pond at rowheath pavilion alongside Rita and Andrea.

Everyone done 8 laps altogether. It was a great day and nice to see everyone in the six weeks holidays. I am very proud of each and everyone of them. Keep growing strong LINK!
