On the Thursday 3rd October 2024, our LINK group members were given a warm welcome at Dudley Voices for Choices Conference at Aston university.

We had to separate from our group for the first activity. We answered some questions on self advocacy then we read our answers out loud.

We also did a presentation on who CASBA is and why we are part of this amazing organisation.
I was so nervous to stand up in front of everyone but I didn’t let that defeat me.

One of the LINK members spoke out for the first time and I am super proud of her.
As a LINK member, I am proud to say everyone that attended and behind the scenes did an incredible job. The venue also provided us with some amazing lunch and pudding.
