Brian and I joined the Northfield NNS for the second day of their Jolly January Campaign and hit the streets of Hawksley. We knocked on doors and gave out 20 leaflets which informed residents about the organisations, services and activities they can access. We were lucky enough to speak to 7 people and had lots of fun interactions with people’s pets along the way.

We were not alone, and we went out with, people from Birmingham City Council, Student Social Workers from The Sweet Project, Cllr Rob Grant and Digikick.

It’s a great campaign to be involved in and have the opportunity to go out and talk to people in the community. For those we couldn’t chat with, we were still able to post a leaflet through their door. In total, for the second day, we delivered 120 leaflets and had 74 conversations.
