Training for social work students and professionals
Our "Voices of the Parents" workshop will raise awareness of what it means to be a parent with a Learning Disability, the difficulties they face and ways professionals can work with people who have a learning disability to make a real difference.
Advocates worked alongside parents they have supported and used real life stories and experiences to develop this training.
“Very powerful and useful presentation, the personal touch of hearing real stories was very effective. Will stay with me” - Trainee
