- It highlights the difficulties parents with a learning disability face.
- It explores the ways professionals can work with people who have a learning disability to make a real difference.
- It was developed and informed by the real life stories and experiences of parents that CASBA advocates have worked alongside and supported.
Learning Outcomes
Learners will increase their awareness and understanding of:
- The challenges faced by parents with learning disabilities.
- How to work inclusively with parents.
- How to work equitably using specific tools eg Easy Read.
