Last month the BBC announced the news that disabled people wouldn’t have to wait until after 9.30am to use their bus pass: Click here to read more on the bbc.co.uk website

CASBA citizens had joined with other disability organisations to campaign for this change on the grounds that it created barriers for disabled people to access everyday life. Our citizens felt very strongly that they should be able to use their bus passes at any time for example to get to work.

Jen Brown, CASBA’s project officer met with Birmingham Mayor Richard Parker last year and discussed with him the need to change this rule as she felt it was unfair.
